This HEAT GENERATOR is designed for drying grain, legumes, corn, sunflower, rapeseed, soybeans, and rice using a stream of warm air generated by burning solid fuel and feeding it under pressure into the grain dryer. The SPH 400 model is equipped with an automatic fuel feed system, a stoker (fuel hopper), electronic combustion system control, intensive burner airflow, and an air injection system for passing air through the HEAT GENERATOR's heat exchanger. The SPH 400 model is designed for drying grain using a hot air stream.
RECOMMENDED AIR TEMPERATURES FOR GRAIN DRYING
Culture | Wheat | Barley | Oats | Rye | Sorghum | Soybeans/ Rape | Sunflower chnik | Corn |
Maximum drying temperature for seed material (C) / (F) | 43°C / 110°F |
Maximum drying temperature for feed grain (C) / (F) | 87°C (190°F) | 71 °C (160°F) | 71 °C (160°F) | 87 °C (190°F) | 82 °C (180°F) | 71°C (160°F) | 65°C (150°F) | 110°C (230°F) |
* The HEAT GENERATOR is designed to operate at temperatures from –15°C to +40°C and
relative humidity not more than 95%.
2. DESIGN AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The fuel storage tank (STOKER, BUNKER) is loaded with the required fuel, which is then automatically fed to the HEAT GENERATOR burner by pushing the fuel out from below. This method maintains a constant flame, as the fuel does not spill from above, and also allows the combustible mixture to preheat before combustion. Preheating the fuel initiates the release of flue gases, thereby increasing the efficiency of the HEAT GENERATOR.
The HEAT GENERATOR burner features an intensive air supply system across the entire combustion area through 5-7 mm diameter openings, allowing for complete control of the combustion process. The burner is also equipped with an automatic ash removal system (the scraper operates in two modes: continuous slow rotation or cyclical, activating at set intervals).
Placing the heat exchanger directly in the HEAT GENERATOR body allows increasing the boiler efficiency to 85%. The 2 burners with which the HEAT GENERATOR is equipped heat the heat exchanger with a direct flame, and then, passing through the heat exchanger's pipe system, the exhaust gas exits into the chimney.
2 clean air fans of the heat exchanger supply air from the environment to the heat exchanger of the HEAT GENERATOR; passing through the heat exchanger, the air is heated and supplied to the Grain Dryer.
All combustion zone and heat exchanger parts are made of high-quality boiler steel.
The electronic control panel controls the operation of all HEAT GENERATOR units in automatic mode, allowing the selected temperature to be supplied to the grain dryer in automatic mode.
The grain dryer can operate on any type of solid fuel with a fraction of no more than 30 mm, including coal, wood chips, grain waste, and pellets.
