Pyrolysis or combustion of wood in installations with an efficiency of 80-85%.
Today, traditional wood combustion methods with 18-20% efficiency units are no longer sufficient. Modern units must achieve 80-85% efficiency.
Heat generators TGU-600, TGU-800, TGU-1000 and TGU-1200 meet this level of requirements.
In heat generators, the issues of separating CO gases (with potential energy of 67 kcal/g.mol) for further oxidation and CO2 (without internal energy reserve) for removal from the heat generator are structurally resolved.
In addition, the design provides for the collection of solid carbon particles in a separate chamber using a centrifugal collection method, which significantly reduces the amount of harmful emissions.
Depending on the fuel quality indicators, the heat output of heat generators is up to 50,000 kcal/h (TGU-1000) and 77,000 kcal/h (TGU-1200).
The air volume passing through the heat extraction system ranges from 500 to 1800 m³ /h. The air temperature (the difference between the inlet and outlet) is 110–30°C. The maximum outlet air temperature can be 130–140°C.
The heating unit is equipped with a VC-4-75 No. 2.5 fan with a 0.75 kW electric motor. 3000 rpm.
The heat generator can be equipped with a water heating circuit (made of stainless chromium-nickel food-grade steel) for technical and domestic needs (~200-250 l/h at a temperature of 40-45 degrees).
Fuel consumption, depending on the type and quality (humidity, wood species), is within 24 (TGU1000) and 32 kg/h (TGU-1200), operating time with one load is within 3 to 12 hours.
One-time loading from 60 (wood shavings, sunflower husks, chaff) to 200 kg (firewood).
Possible applications of heat generators
The need to ensure an appropriate thermal regime during work has attracted the interest of specialists from various sectors of industry, construction, and agriculture.
Many companies view heat generators not only as heating devices but also as components of technological processes. In these cases, it is necessary to consider the specifics of the technological processes, the condition of buildings and structures, the heat transfer capabilities of a specific system, and other technical aspects.
Some areas of use of heat generators:
- Drying wood
- Drying grain
- Drying medicinal plants
- Heating of livestock buildings
- Heating a greenhouse
- Heat treatment of wood
- Air-water heating systems
- Heating of a residential building
