Sunflower oil press filter

A press filter is used to filter various vegetable oils: sunflower, soybean, corn, mustard, flaxseed, and many others. It is essential equipment for oil purification at an oil extraction plant during the production of vegetable oil.

The operating principle of the "Leader" press filter is very simple. Oil is supplied under pressure to a filter element stretched over metal frames of specified dimensions. The vegetable oil passes through the filter fabric, is cleaned of all impurities and sediment, and is fed into a special collector. The main filter element of frame filters is the belting. The belting filter fabric absorbs and retains all mechanically insoluble mixtures (slurry, debris, etc.). Cotton fabrics are used as the material. The filtration process occurs at low pressure. The speed of purification depends on many factors: the temperature of the raw material itself, the amount of non-fatty impurities, and the grade and quality of the oil.
