Deaerator column

Deaerators are installed in boiler rooms to extract chemically reactive gases from boiler feedwater and the heating system. To improve the safety and service life of the boiler system, it is necessary to degas the water entering the boiler room. In deaerators, deaeration occurs in several stages. The first stages of degassing occur in the deaerator column, and the final stage occurs in the deaerator tank.

The deaerating column is a vertical cylinder into which makeup water enters from the top and is degassed as it passes through the upper and lower perforated trays. At the same time, the liquid is heated, increasing the release of aggressive gases. After deaerating in the column, the treated liquid requires settling for more thorough deaerating. For this purpose, the water flows into a deaerating tank.
