Ash catcher charger

The ZU ash collector is installed in solid fuel boilers before the chimney to capture and burn out ash particles. Flue gases leaving the boiler room contain unburned fuel particles, which reduces fire safety not only within the boiler room but also in the surrounding area.

Flue gases enter the ash collector and, as they pass from top to bottom, spiral downward, losing velocity. As the gas flow slows, ash particles fall into a hopper at the bottom of the ash collector, and the flue gases are discharged into the chimney. The hopper is equipped with a damper, through which the ash is periodically cleaned.

ZU ash collectors are used in low-capacity boiler houses and have a capacity of 6,750 ^m3 /h. To prevent condensation, ash collectors are installed in boiler houses.
