Battery cyclone

CB battery cyclones are installed in solid fuel boilers upstream of the chimney to capture and burn out ash particles. Flue gases leaving the boiler room contain unburned fuel particles, which reduces fire safety not only within the boiler room but also in the surrounding area.

Flue gases enter the cyclone stack and, passing parallel through a series of cyclones from top to bottom, spiral downwards, losing velocity. As the gas flow slows, ash particles fall into a hopper at the bottom of the cyclone, and flue gases are discharged into the stack. The hopper is equipped with a damper, through which the ash is periodically cleaned.

Battery cyclones CB are used in boiler houses of medium and large capacities.

Battery cyclones are a structure consisting of a group of ash collectors (cyclones). Flue gases pass through these cyclones in parallel, which reduces gas flow velocity and increases the settling of unburned ash particles.
