The Watts STS 20 safety valve is used in solid fuel boilers with a hot water storage tank or storage tank . The Watts STS 20 valve is designed to protect solid fuel boilers with a power output of up to 93 kW from overheating. Operation of the Watts STS 20 safety valve is independent of system pressure. The Watts valve opens when the hot water supply pipe reaches a temperature of 95°C, thereby draining the water from the storage tank and replacing it with cold water.
