Water and steam sampling cooler

Deaerators are installed in boiler rooms to remove chemically reactive gases from boiler feedwater and the heating system. To improve the safety and service life of the boiler system, degassing of the incoming water is necessary.

All deaerators are equipped with a water and steam sample cooler to monitor degassing quality. Deaerated water and steam samples must be measured at intervals specified in the documentation. Proper operation of the deaerator will reduce boiler equipment corrosion and wear, resulting in safe and long-lasting boiler operation.

The sample cooler is a vertical cylinder filled with cooling water. Water and steam from the deaerator pass through this cylinder through tubes and are cooled for deaerating quality control. To improve cooling, the cooler tubes are curved in a spiral.
