Demrad ADONIS B24

The Adonis series of gas-fired chimney boilers are designed for heating and domestic hot water in private homes and multi-story apartments where the building design includes a chimney or dedicated chimney shafts. The main distinguishing feature of the Adonis series boilers is that they draw combustion air directly from the room in which they are installed and exhaust gases into a specially designed chimney, which creates the natural draft necessary for gas combustion.

The advantage of these boilers over turbocharged ones is their simple design, lower cost, and, due to the absence of a turbine in the system, lower energy consumption and operating noise. It's important to remember that due to their design (open combustion chamber), Adonis series boilers must be installed in well-ventilated areas.
