Functional features

The BALLU T2 (H) series electric air curtains are a new series of powerful and efficient air curtains for openings up to 4.5 meters high. Positioned above (or to the side of) the opening, the curtain creates an airflow that prevents cold air, exhaust fumes, odors, dust, and insects from entering the room. These curtains significantly reduce heat loss in a building, resulting in savings on heating costs. They also prevent drafts when opening doors and gates. The air curtains also even out the temperature in the room by primarily heating the coldest part of the room, the lower part near the opening. During warmer months, the curtains can operate without heating.

• The one-piece nozzle (without a jumper in the middle) has no “dead zones” and provides reliable protection;
• Highly efficient aluminum impellers manufactured by PUNKER (Germany);
• Precise balancing virtually eliminates vibration and extraneous noise during curtain operation;
• The specially designed working chamber, developed in collaboration with PUNKER, creates a stabilized laminar air flow;
• Minimizing turbulent flows in curtains ensures the formation of a dense damper flow at the nozzle outlet, effectively protecting the opening;
• A capillary safety thermostat ensures timely shutdown of the curtain in case of overheating, and the manual restart function prevents repeated overheating;
• Anti-corrosion treatment and durable polymer coating of the body;
• Two performance modes, 100% and 70%, allow flexible control of the curtains taking into account weather conditions;
• Operating mode without heating for protection in summer from street heat, dust and insects;
• Horizontal or vertical installation is possible.
