Functional features

The Ballu AP-155 air purifier features all the features and technologies needed for effective and high-quality indoor air purification. It features 5 air purification stages, 4 fan speeds, convenient touch controls, an air ionizer (can be switched off), an 8-hour timer for shutting off the unit, and an air purity level indicator. To ensure timely filter replacement, the purifier automatically tracks the filter life. The purifier serves a room of up to 20 square meters.

A unique feature of the device is its built-in room light sensor. When the room is dimly lit, the purifier automatically switches to Quiet mode, turning off almost all indicators on the control panel. This is designed to create the most comfortable conditions for sleep and relaxation. When the light levels return to brighter, the device automatically returns to its previously set mode.

The fan forces the airflow through a Pre-Carbon filter, which traps relatively large particles. The air then passes through a HEPA filter, which traps pollen, allergens, and other particles down to 0.3 microns in size. Next, a 2-in-1 VOC filter (carbon filter + zeolite) absorbs and soaks up unpleasant odors and chemical compounds such as CO2, formaldehyde, and freon. The air purification process is completed by an ionizer, which generates the required amount of negative ions and purifies the air in the room. The ions bind dust particles together into larger clusters, which are better captured by the filter, further enhancing the purification effect.
