The Ballu AP-100 and AP-105 air purifiers feature a 3-stage purification system that cleans the air of dust, pollen, and allergens.

The fan forces the airflow through a Pre-Carbon filter, which traps relatively large particles. The air then passes through a HEPA filter, which traps pollen, allergens, and other particles as small as 0.3 microns. The ionizer completes the air purification process, generating the required amount of negative ions to purify the air in the room. The ions bind dust particles together into larger clusters, which are better captured by the filter, further enhancing the cleaning effect.
