Water treatment plant VPU-2.5

The VPU-2.5 water treatment system is designed for small boiler plants. Makeup water, even from wells, must undergo several stages of purification before entering the boiler. Properly treated water improves safety and extends the service life of boiler equipment.

The VPU-2.5 water treatment system consists of two vertical cylindrical tanks. The VPU-2.5 has a cation exchange tank for softening the water entering the boiler room. The cation exchanger acts as a softener. Its chemical composition absorbs calcium and magnesium ions, preventing scale and sludge formation in boiler systems. To ensure the cation exchanger's continued service life, it must be loosened and flushed periodically. A salt dissolving tank is used for this purpose.
