Electrolux EWH Centurio IQ 2.0 series electric storage water heater with an internal stainless steel tank and a USB port for controlling the appliance via Wi-Fi.

Connecting to Wi-Fi via a USB port allows you to remotely control your water heating from anywhere in the world. This will not only ensure your water is heated to the desired temperature upon your arrival but also significantly reduce your energy costs.
To control the water heater via Wi-Fi, use the removable Smart Wi-Fi module (optional) and the dedicated Electrolux Home Comfort: Climate Appliances mobile app. The app is available for download from the App Store and Google Play for mobile devices running Android 4.1 or iOS 6.0 or later.

The "X-HEAT" system of "DRY" heating elements uses dry heating elements that have no direct contact with water. The heating elements are housed in special metal housings attached to a flange at the bottom of the tank, which prevents scale buildup on the heating elements. Independent operation of the heating elements allows the water heater to continue operating even if one fails. Thus, the "X-Heat" system significantly increases the lifespan of the water heater.

The inner tank is made of high-quality stainless steel with a high content of anti-corrosion alloying elements such as chromium and nickel. Steel with these characteristics is more resistant to corrosion and easier to process, ensuring the longevity and high reliability of the water heaters. Stainless steel is completely safe and approved for use in medical and food production.

The water heater's internal tanks are manufactured using a fully automated, next-generation argon welding process, eliminating defects associated with manual production and guaranteeing impeccable weld quality and corrosion resistance throughout their lifespan. Each water heater undergoes rigorous post-production testing, ensuring high quality and flawless operation for years to come.

Water heaters in this series offer versatile installation options: they can be installed either vertically or horizontally, offering ample room placement flexibility. Thanks to their modern, flat design and compact size (depth starting at 25.3 cm), these water heaters fit easily into any compact space.

Electrolux water heaters now feature a timer or delayed heating option. The appliance will automatically calculate the water heating time based on your settings, turn on early, and begin heating. Simply set the time you need hot water.

A half-power function can be selected on the control panel. This allows you to save energy and use the appliance in rooms with limited electrical power, such as a summer house. When set to full power, the rapid heating function activates to reach the set temperature.

Using the control knob and LED display, you can set the desired heating temperature with an accuracy of 1°C. During heating, the LED display will show the current temperature inside the water heater.

The EWH Centurio IQ model features an economy mode that heats water to approximately 55°C. This temperature extends the life of the heating element, disinfects the water, and reduces scale buildup.

The EWH Centurio IQ features a multi-stage safety system. A special thermostat prevents water from heating above 75°C. Dry heat protection shuts off the heating element if there is no water in the tank, ensuring the safety of the heating element. A safety drain valve protects the appliance from excess pressure, and a Residual Current Device on the electrical cable prevents electrical leaks.

To effectively insulate the units, a 20-mm layer of CFC-free polyurethane foam—an environmentally friendly material filled using a special technology under high pressure—was used. Safe for the environment and human health, it offers excellent thermal insulation properties and minimizes heat loss and high energy costs.
