This 30 kWh on- grid solar power system is equipped with 260 W Perlight polycrystalline solar modules and a 30 kW grid-tie inverter from Growatt. This system requires no batteries and operates directly from the national grid. It cannot be used as a backup or off-grid. However, it can be used under the state "Green Tariff" program, which purchases surplus electricity at a rate several times higher than the retail price. The sale price for 1 kWh of surplus electricity in 2016 was 5.51 UAH.
