Purpose of the steam generator

Steam boilers are fire-tube steam generators and are designed for small-capacity enterprises to produce the required amount of high-quality low-pressure process steam in a short period of time from the moment of ignition.

Large heating surface sizes allow for the production of high quality steam.

Long service life is ensured by high-quality manufacturing.

The boilers are supplied as a single unit with installed thermal insulation, metal casing, control unit and fan.

Installation procedure

Boilers are installed in premises that comply with the requirements of SNiP ׀׀-35-76 “Boiler installations”, SNiP ׀׀-58-75 “Thermal power plants” and these rules.

The boiler room must be provided with natural light and, at night, electric lighting. The lighting must meet the requirements of SNiP No. 4-79 "Natural and Artificial Lighting."

The boiler room must be equipped with a gas detector.

Installation of boilers and auxiliary boiler equipment must be carried out by a specialized installation organization that has the appropriate permits, according to the documentation of the manufacturer and the boiler room design.

Before installing the boiler on the foundation, it is necessary to mark the boiler mounting axes, the longitudinal axis and the front line of the boiler on the foundation so that the distances to the walls and between the boilers comply with the requirements of the “Rules”.

After installing the boiler on the foundation, balance the boiler body strictly horizontally using a level.

Install the fittings, safety device and piping within the boiler, as well as the control regulator and blower fan.

Make a connection:

- connection to distribution networks according to the project;

- connection of flues to the chimney according to the project;

- electrical connections of the blower fan and control regulator in accordance with the electrical diagrams and design;

- installation of safety equipment.

Boiler operation

During boiler operation, the water level is maintained automatically. During startup, commissioning, and testing, the amount of air supplied to the furnace is adjusted. This can be accomplished either manually by adjusting the damper or automatically; the instructions for this are detailed in the automatic control unit's instructions. By adjusting the amount of air supplied to the furnace, significant fuel savings can be achieved.
