The new BALLU BIH-AP3-2.0 Platinum series infrared heaters are the most compact, modern, and energy-efficient heating devices for targeted heating. They are indispensable for localized heating of work areas in rooms with high ceilings or poor insulation, where traditional heating methods are ineffective. The ability to install them directly above occupants ensures energy savings. In addition to all their advantages, the BIH-AP3 series heaters feature a unique black anodizing finish, achieving the highest efficiency among electric infrared heaters—approximately 95%. A mirror-finish stainless steel housing reflects the infrared rays toward the heater's operating area, significantly increasing heating efficiency.

Like the sun, they emit thermal energy in the infrared spectrum. The heat is virtually unabsorbed by the air and reaches the heated surfaces without loss, which in turn warms the air. This creates a mild indoor climate and contributes to more efficient energy consumption.

For example:

If a room needs to be maintained at 21°C, an IR heater will quickly heat the floor to that temperature, making the user comfortable. A standard heater, on the other hand, will maintain the set temperature at the user's head, while the foot area will remain at around 15°C. Consequently, the user will feel cold and will increase the temperature until their feet feel comfortable. This allows an IR heater to maintain a room temperature 3-4°C lower than a conventional heating source, resulting in significant energy savings.
