1. Purpose of use
Enston's environmentally friendly solid fuel hot water boilers are designed for heating single-family homes, summer cottages, cabins, and other residential properties. These boilers are designed exclusively for burning lump wood. Any dry wood can be used for heating, including logs and split firewood up to a maximum length of 330, 530, 730, and 1000 mm, depending on the boiler type. Larger diameter logs can also be used; this will reduce the nominal power but increase the burn time. The boiler is not designed for burning sawdust or small wood waste. These can only be burned in small quantities with the firewood.
2. Technical description
The boiler body is welded from 3-8 mm thick steel sheets. It consists of a fuel hopper, the bottom of which contains a molded refractory with a longitudinal opening for the movement of combustion products and gases. The afterburning chamber beneath it is equipped with ceramic molded refractories. At the rear of the body is a vertical flue gas duct, with an ignition damper at the top. The upper part of the flue gas duct is equipped with an exhaust port for connection to the chimney. The front wall is equipped with a loading door at the top, and ash pan doors at the bottom. The ignition damper drawbar is located in the front of the upper hood. The boiler body is externally insulated with mineral wool, inserted under the sheet metal covers of the boiler's outer casing. The control panel for the electromechanical controls is located at the top of the boiler. At the rear of the boiler is a primary and secondary air intake duct, equipped with a damper controlled by a draft regulator. The primary and secondary air are preheated to a high temperature.

ATTENTION : When starting the fire, set the flue gas thermostat to "0°C" (starting). Once the boiler is lit, set the thermostat to the operating temperature. The optimal setting for specific conditions should always be determined by observation. If the flue gas temperature drops below the set value, the thermostat will turn off the exhaust fan. To restart the fan, set the thermostat to a lower temperature.
