Boiler Retra-4M 2000 kW

Purpose

Heating boilers with a maximum water temperature of 90 °C and an operating pressure of up to 0.6 MPa, with microprocessor regulation of the coolant temperature, forced adjustable air supply and automated fuel supply to the combustion chamber (if necessary, can be switched to manual fuel loading mode) - are designed for heat supply of individual residential buildings and public utility buildings equipped with heating systems with forced (closed heating system under pressure) or natural (open heating system) circulation of the coolant.

Operating principle

The Retra-4M boilers can operate in two modes: manual and automatic fuel loading.

In the boiler's first operating mode, fuel (wood, coal, briquettes, etc.) is loaded through the loading hatch. Efficient combustion in the firebox is achieved through an intensive air supply around the perimeter of the chamber, creating an "air cocoon" around the fuel. Any gas that doesn't burn in the firebox due to insufficient air is further combusted by the supply of secondary air. This ensures a high efficiency of up to 93%.

In the second mode, fuel is loaded automatically from the hopper via a screw conveyor (driven by a gearmotor) to the pellet burner. Maximum efficient fuel combustion in the pellet burner is ensured by air flow provided by a fan. Operation of the screw conveyor and fan is controlled by a microprocessor-based thermostat.

• F – with lined hatches;
• B – with water-cooled hatches;
• P – the front side of the boiler is vertical (straight)
  
• K – the front side of the boiler is inclined (at an angle).
  

Upon special request, the boiler heat exchanger can be made reinforced - operating pressure up to 0.6 MPa.

The boiler's undeniable advantage is its unique self-cleaning scoop-type burner , which operates as a single unit, consisting of the boiler and feed hopper connected by a screw conveyor. The unit features a water-cooled housing and a movable platform that moves along guides using an eccentric and geared motor, ensuring even fuel distribution across the entire burner surface and complete combustion. The burner housing also contains nozzles for air supply from the fan. The system has a long service life, is installed on boilers with capacities ranging from 200 kW to 2.0 MW, and can be used with a wide range of fine-grained fuels, as it is unpretentious regarding their quality, grade, and moisture content.

Control system for solid fuel boiler "Retra-4M"

The boiler design provides for its operation together with an electronic control panel, a blower fan, an auger drive and a burner nozzle.

The control system is based on an electronic controller, which is designed to ensure a set temperature of the coolant at the outlet of the solid fuel boiler, which is measured using a digital temperature sensor.

The operating principle of the device is to supply fuel, control the combustion process of the fuel and the circulation of the coolant by adjusting the speed of the fans that pump air, and supplying power to the auger drive and the circulation pump.

The principle of operation of automation

During and after the automatic loading of the required amount of fuel into the burner, the fan intensively forces air for a set period of time to achieve a stable combustion temperature. This cycle is repeated until the water temperature in the boiler rises to the base values set on the thermostat. After this, the automatic system switches to combustion maintenance mode. When the temperature drops to the set minimum level (recommended: 45-55°C), fuel is automatically loaded from the hopper again, the fan is turned on, and the boiler cycle begins again.

If the temperature reaches the set maximum level (recommended: 85-90 °C), the automation shuts off the fuel supply with the fan and goes into support mode.
