A 0.2 MW hot water boiler is installed in the boiler room. In this version, the fuel feed mechanism hopper is filled manually or using a loading machine. Fuel is fed into the firebox via an auger. Combustion occurs in the firebox using the "volcano" principle. Primary and secondary air are supplied by fans. The amount of air supplied is manually regulated by dampers, depending on the quantity and quality of the fuel. A smoke exhaust fan equipped with a frequency converter and a vacuum sensor maintains the required vacuum in the firebox. The speed of the smoke exhaust rotor is automatically adjusted depending on the vacuum in the firebox. Combustion in the firebox is controlled manually by setting the "feed" and "pause" values on the fuel feed mechanism control unit. As the water temperature at the boiler outlet approaches the set temperature, the fuel supply is reduced, and the smoke exhaust fan operates at minimum speed to prevent the accumulation of unburned gases in the firebox. The combustion process will resume (fuel supply, air supply, normal operation of the smoke exhauster) when the water temperature at the boiler outlet drops by 5...7 ⁰ C. Fuel consumption (sawdust, wood chips) at maximum load is 0.5 - 0.6 ^m3 / hour. The permissible fuel moisture content is no higher than 55%.
