MADAS two-position electromagnetic valves with manual shutter cocking are designed for remote control of gas flows (natural gas, liquefied gas, air, carbon monoxide and other dry gases) as shut-off and control devices and safety devices.
The operating principle of valves with manual shutter cocking is based on the automatic shut-off of the natural gas flow when voltage is applied to the coil (electromagnet) of the valve in the case of a normally open version and the removal of voltage from the coil in the case of a normally closed version.
The specified valves are safety valves, therefore, re-installation of the valve in the working position after automatic activation is possible only after eliminating the causes of its activation and cocking the valve stem manually.
