A "dry heating element" is a ceramic electric heating element housed in a steel sleeve welded to the flange cover. This allows for easy replacement of the heating element without compromising the water heater's tank's seal.
The advantage of this design is the increased heat exchange surface, protection of the heating element from scale formation, which distinguishes Drazice water heaters from water heaters of other manufacturers using “wet heating elements”.
The heat exchanger is of the “pipe in pipe” type (heating “jacket”) with an area of 0.75 m^2 for OKCV 200 NTR models.
The inner surface of the tank is coated with high-quality nickel-free enamel, which, in combination with a protective magnesium anode, ensures long service life.
