A "dry heating element" is a ceramic electric heating element housed in a steel sleeve welded to the flange cover. This allows for easy replacement of the heating element without compromising the water heater's tank's seal.
The advantage of this design is its increased heat exchange surface area and protection of the heating element from scale buildup, which distinguishes Drazice water heaters from other manufacturers using "wet" heating elements. The OKC 180 has a tubular spiral heat exchanger with an area of 0.68 m^2.
The inner surface of the tank is coated with high-quality nickel-free enamel, which, in combination with a protective magnesium anode, ensures the longevity of the water heater.
