Automatic furnace control unit for gas burners DMG 970

Designed for 2-stage forced-draft and combined (gas/diesel) gas burners. Possible flame sensor:
– Ionization probe
– Infrared sensor IRD 1020.1
– Ultraviolet sensor UVD 971

The DMG 970 burner control unit controls the output of gas burners, as well as combined gas/diesel burners. It is tested and certified according to the relevant European standards. It can be used on stationary air-heated generators in accordance with DIN 4794. A microprocessor-controlled program sets an extremely stable burner time, independent of fluctuations in line voltage, ambient temperature, and/or switching cycles. The integrated information system not only continuously monitors ongoing events (especially important for monitoring the start-up phase), but also informs about the cause of a possible emergency shutdown. The cause of the malfunction is stored in the device's memory and can be restored even after a power failure. The burner control unit is designed for maximum safety in the event of voltage fluctuations. If the line voltage drops below the permissible level, operation is stopped, and the burner control unit prevents a repeat of the start-up procedure. This ensures that the safety of the system is not compromised by a power failure. Low voltage protection operates not only during start-up, but also continuously throughout burner operation.

Honeywell guarantees superior ignition stability, regardless of voltage fluctuations, ambient temperature, and/or power-on cycles. The integrated information system not only continuously monitors the device's actual status (especially important for monitoring the startup phase), but also alerts you to the cause of a potential automatic shutdown.
The automatic ignition system ensures maximum safety in the event of power supply fluctuations. If the power supply voltage drops below an acceptable level, operation is interrupted and the automatic ignition system prevents any further ignition attempts. This voltage drop protection operates not only during startup but also continuously throughout operation.
