Flow sensor for the Grundfos UPA120 AUTO pump

The Grundfos UPA120 AUTO flow sensor is used to protect the pump from dry running, i.e., when no water flows through it. This is highly undesirable, as it creates a risk of accidents and reduces the pump's service life.

The water flow switch performs the primary function, automating the operation of the Grundfos pressure booster pump. Without this sensor, automatic operation is impossible. The device turns on the unit when the water flow rate reaches 1.5 liters per minute and turns it off if it drops below the specified value.
