Baxi flow sensor, Westen (710048100)

Flow sensor Baxi Fourtech, Eco5 Compact, Westen Pulsar D. Installed in boilers equipped with a Bitron composite hydraulic group:

It consists of a white cylindrical cartridge with two O-ring seals and a coarse filter mounted on the end. The Baxi Fourtech and Westen Pulsar D flow sensor housing is detachable and consists of two parts, one of which contains a magnetic impeller. This part is mounted in the upper right section of the hydraulic block. It is secured with a U-shaped, round clamp.

The Baxi Fourtech and Westen Pulsar D flow sensors operate on the following principle: When a tap is opened, the domestic water flowing through the boiler sets the turbine in motion, causing it to rotate around its own axis. Two magnets located on opposite blades create an alternating magnetic field, which is read, in turn, by the turbine.
