The IE-72 PID v2 microprocessor temperature controller for the solid fuel heating boiler controls the blower fan, the heating circuit circulation pump, and the DHW pump. The controller features an innovative PID control algorithm, which provides boiler operation with smooth fan speed adjustment based on the temperature of the boiler's coolant (water). Additionally, the boiler automation system can be equipped with an RT-1000 flue gas sensor (purchased separately), which, when activated, provides more precise smooth fan speed adjustment based on the exhaust gas temperature readings at the boiler outlet.
